We all have crazy days and if you are like me by the time dinner comes around my brain is too tired to even think of cooking a healthy and yummy meal. Some days I feel defeated.. I want to feed my family healthy, simple, tasty and different meals. This is why I love the line of Halladays foods we carry. They are all that and more! Here I am sharing some recipes using our new variety of foods we just got in. 


Lets start with the Dilly Fish Seafood Seasoning. It is tasty, healthy, simple and add your rice or veggies of your choice. 

2 Tbsp. plain Greek yogurt
2 Tbsp. Halladay's Dilly Fish Seasoning
2 6 oz. salmon fillets skinned
½ cup whole wheat panko breadcrumbs
1 Tbsp. canola oil
1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard

Preheat oven to 450˚F. Combine vinegar, yogurt and 1 Tbs. of seasoning; set aside. Arrange fish on a foil lined baking sheet; season with salt and pepper. Bake 10 minutes or to desired doneness. Remove pan from oven. Combine panko, remaining seasoning, oil and mustard and spoon evenly over fish. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes until topping is brown. Serve yogurt sauce over salmon.


Parchment Baked Fish

1 Tbsp. capers
1 to 2 Tbsp. Halladay's Dilly Fish Seasoning
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 fennel bulb, thinly sliced lengthwise
2 (6 oz.) filets of sole or flounder

Preheat oven to 400˚F. Combine capers, seasoning and lemon. Cut two pieces of parchment and place ¼ of fennel on each. Place packets on a baking sheet; bake for 12-15 minutes.


Apple Crisp- If you love apples, you will love this easy recipe! My kids love it with ice cream or whipped cream. Easy, simple, healthy and YUMMY!

4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1 stick butter
1 package Halladay's apple crisp Mix

Peel, core and slice 4 cups of apples, then place them in to a 9" pie plate. Set aside and make the topping. Cut one stick of butter into small pieces and blend with Halladay's apple crisp mix. Crumble topping mixture over apples. Bake at 350˚F for approximately 20-30 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned.


Who doesnt love Chocolate and Cheesecake? Those are my favorites. This is something even the kids can make! This cheesecake mix is a no bake, no brainer dessert. We offer many varieties but this one is the most popular. Check out these simple and quick recipes!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake

1 package Halladay's double chocolate cheesecake
1 (8 oz.) bar cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, defrosted
15 mini peanut butter cups, quartered
1 (9-inch) prepared graham cracker pie crust

Combine cheesecake and cream cheese; fold in Cool Whip. Fold in peanut butter cups, reserving a few for garnish. Pour mixture into pie shell and garnish with remaining peanut butter cups. Chill at least 1 hour before serving.


Nutella Parfait

12 Oreo's, crushed

3 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) block of cream cheese, softened
1 package Halladay's double chocolate cheesecake
¾ cup Nutella
1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip, divided or 8 oz. whipped cream

Combine Oreo's with butter; reserve for later. Blend cheesecake mix with cream cheese and Nutella; fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spoon small amount of Oreo mixture into the bottom of a dessert glass followed by a layer of cream cheese mixture. Add another layer of Oreo followed by another layer of cream cheese mixture. Let chill. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
Variation: pour cream cheese mixture into a prepared Oreo or chocolate pie shell; let chill.
